Before my life with kids I was a preschool teacher; I continue to have the title as teacher, but now I only have two students and they call me 'Mom'.
It's not a bad gig, because it pays in hugs and inspiration. Unfortunately, I cannot pay for very much in the currency of hugs {sigh}. So, using the inspiration which they also give me, I've open up shop.

I have two very spirited kids who fill my days; Max and Izabella. They have each been called by forty-two different knick names and counting, most common of which is my shop's namesake: Moe and Bean.

I'm a hobbyist.
I'm a do-it-myselfer.
I'll try anything once.
Over the years I've managed to acquire many hobbies and talents. One of which is not Rollerblading [ouch] . Some hobbies lay dormant, such as needle felting, flower arranging, and jewelry making. While others take over every free moment I can scrounge up, like knitting and sewing. My talents are rather eclectic and I like it that way. I can go out change my oil, identify plant species, and sharpen a chainsaw, then come inside, cut my husbands hair, broil some tofu, and bake a vegan cake.

I'm a science buff, logic game enthusiast and an animal lover. I keep an aggressive salt water aquarium, have three dogs (one rescue mutt and two pugs) and a backyard of chickens. Some things are meant to be kept simple, our life just isn't one of them.
